Yotes Court Mereworth Road (north side) Country house. Circa 1656-58. Listed Grade I as a very early example of the type of country house that became dominant after the Restoration. As a building of importance and quality of the Commonwealth period it has great rarity value.

Mereworth Castle
The Long Gallery ceiling and doorway at Mereworth Castle
Mereworth Castle Maidstone Road (south side) Main block with moat walls to north. House by Colen Campbell. Roofed 1723. Based on the Villa Capra near Vicenza of circa 1565 by the famous Italian architect Andreas Palladio, and considered to be the first and finest building of the 18th century neo-Palladian revival in Great Britain.

Mereworth War Memorial -First World War memorial of around 1920 with additional later plaque. Stone with slate plaque. Free standing stone tablet with shouldered and rock-hewn surround – inscribed with the names of 141 Mereworth combatants who served in the First World War The names of the 21 who fell in the conflict are marked with a cross. At the top of the tablet there is an inscribed dedication in PERPETUAL HONOUR OF MEREWORTH MEN WHO SERVED IN THE GREAT WAR 1914-1918. At the foot of the memorial there is a later wedge-shaped stone, which is faced with a slate plaque. It is inscribed with AND LEST WE FORGET THE FALLEN 1929-1945 and the names of the nine Mereworth combatants who died in the Second World War.
