As part of the Coronation weekend festivities, The King’s Lunch took place during on Sunday 7 May 2023 at the QEII Recreation Ground. Around 200 residents, friends and relatives attended and had a wonderful afternoon. The sun came out at 2pm almost exactly. The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed the puddings and glass of Prosecco afterwards. Thank you to Jenny Thorogood for all her hard work and to Jenny and her crew for preparing the delicious food. The line dancers were great fun. Thank you to them.
